On the 27th of March this year it will be 22 years since Billy Wilder passed away aged 95,
He was a filmmaker, screenwriter & Producer. His career in the movie business spanned more than five decades, and he is rightly regarded as one of the most brilliant and versatile filmmakers of Classic Hollywood cinema.
he created a filmography that boasts 27 directing and 63 writing credits to his name.
Over the next few blogs I'm going to explore his remarkable career and hopefully inspire someone to either re-visit or even discover some of this great man's work for the first time.
